Privacy

Your information, handled plainly.

Deckmasters Marine LLC collects only what it needs to answer your inquiry and schedule your project. This page explains what we gather, why, and the choices you have.

What We Collect

Only what you choose to share.

When you contact us through this website, you provide information directly. Depending on how you reach out, that may include:

  • Your name, email address, and phone number.
  • The property address for your project, if you provide it, so we can plan a site visit.
  • The details you type about your dock, seawall, boat lift, or repair.
  • Whether you consented to be contacted by phone, text, or email.

Our web host also records standard technical information — such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you visit — in server logs used to keep the site secure and working. This site uses only the essential browser storage needed to remember your light/dark theme preference. It does not run third-party advertising or cross-site tracking.

How We Use It

To answer you and do the work.

We use the information you provide to:

  • Respond to your inquiry and answer your questions.
  • Schedule and prepare for a site visit.
  • Prepare and send a written estimate.
  • Communicate with you about a project we are discussing or performing.
  • Keep records required for our licensing, insurance, and warranty obligations.

We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not use it to send unrelated marketing unless you have asked us to.

Calls & Text Messages

You control how we reach you.

When you check the consent box on our contact form, you agree that Deckmasters Marine LLC may contact you by phone call, text message, or email about your inquiry, using the contact details you gave us.

  • Consent is not a condition of any purchase.
  • Message and data rates may apply to text messages.
  • Message frequency depends on our conversation with you.
  • To stop text messages, reply STOP at any time. For help, reply HELP or call us.
  • To stop calls or emails, tell us by phone or email and we will honor the request.

We do not share your phone number with third parties for their own marketing, and mobile opt-in information is never sold.

How We Share

Limited, and never for sale.

We share your information only where it is necessary to run our business and serve you:

  • With service providers that operate this website, deliver our messages, or manage our customer records — and only so they can perform those services for us.
  • With subcontractors or suppliers directly involved in your project, when needed to complete the work.
  • When required by law, or to protect our legal rights, safety, or property.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not disclose it for anyone else's independent marketing.

Your Privacy Rights

Access, correct, or delete.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights over the personal information we hold about you — including under the Florida Digital Bill of Rights and the California Consumer Privacy Act. Those rights can include:

  • Asking what personal information we hold about you.
  • Asking us to correct inaccurate information.
  • Asking us to delete your information.
  • Asking us to stop contacting you, or to opt out of the sale or sharing of your information — which we do not do.

To make a request, contact us using the details below. We will verify your request and respond within the timeframe required by applicable law. You will not be treated differently for exercising these rights.

Retention & Security

Kept as long as needed — no longer.

We keep inquiry and project information for as long as needed to serve you and to meet our legal, licensing, warranty, and recordkeeping obligations, then dispose of it securely.

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security — for anything sensitive, a phone call is best.

This website is intended for adults; we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. Links to third-party websites are governed by those sites' own privacy policies, not this one.
